The staff are friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Breakfast is a highlight, with delicious local sausages, eggs from their own hens, and homegrown potatoes. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying a meal at one of the nearby restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at Cartmel in Aultbea. The breakfast was delicious, with a trolley full of beautifully cooked food delivered right to our room. The location was perfect for visiting the Russian Arctic Convoy Museum. The hosts, David and Sam, were friendly and cooked us amazing evening meals. we had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

i was happy with hotel's nice location in a trolley. the room was big and comfy with dressing gowns and bath robes in the private bathroom. location: the venue was next to the garden, the northern shore, and the highlands. also, loch ewe distillery was only 1 km away.

The experience was lovely, will be back. The double room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was fully-equipped. The hotel's location was quiet all in all a fantastic stop over for the NC500 bike touring mob. Plus, it was near the northern shore of Loch Ewe as well as the garden.

cartmel b&b was a delightful surprise during my skiing trip. exceeded expectations with their comfortable rooms, great food, and friendly hosts. lovely garden with friendly feathered friends. reminded me of my previous stay in aultbea. would definitely go again.

The staff was really helpful, the room was cosy and fully-equipped. The location was marvellous and perfect, all in all a fantastic stop over for the NC500 bike touring mob. Plus, a small Scottish island was set 15 mins on foot.
The bathroom was very small.
